FLOOR LEVELING OR FLATTENING
Floor Levelling
We create a flat and smooth surface with a high-quality finish. We can pour on cracks and other different floor types like uneven floors. This creates a flat surface for your new floors and renovation process.
We use Stabila Laser to identify highs and lows then mark the floor every 3-4 feet to ensure a most accurate map of the floor. We then do the preparation needed such as priming and using leveling pins to stick on concrete to identify the correct height at the SLU that needs to be poured to ensure a level surface.
Floor Flattening
We use 10’ straight edge to survey the floor for highs and low spots, we then mark using a water based spray paint. Grinding down high spots and filling in low spots also known as “grind and patch”. We work with a tolerance provided by the flooring company and make sure we have met the requirements for proper flooring installation in order to get warranty from flooring supplier and installer.
We apply self-leveling polymer modified cementitious products to create the best underlayment that will be compatible for all types of floor coverings and systems.
The key benefits of full underlayment include:
• Fast track system
• Save money on concrete finishing
• Flatness across the entire room
• All done in one application rather than several
This SLU is poured over the existing floor such as concrete, wood, vinyl composition tile, ceramic, tile, plywood, and other hard surfaces.

Why Should You Consider Floor Leveling?
A floor surface may look fine at first glimpse, but there can be hidden flaws that create several issues after you start living there. We will give you 7 solid reasons to recommend a well-thought-out floor leveling for residential and commercial constructions.
Prevention from Moisture Damage
Properly leveled floors eliminate uneven surfaces where water might collect, shielding your property from destructive moisture issues. This crucial step maintains structural health, preventing costly repairs related to mould and decay.
Cost-Effective Maintenance
Floor leveling offers long-term savings by reducing the frequency and severity of maintenance needs. It protects against uneven wear and potential structural damages, ensuring that future repairs are less intrusive and less frequent. Consider it a substantial cost-saving option for property owners.
Enhanced Structural Integrity
Floor leveling reinforces your building’s foundation by correcting imbalances in the substrate. This process prevents structural deterioration like cracking and buckling and helps sustain the load-bearing capacity of floors, which is crucial for safety and durability.
Improved Aesthetic Appeal
A leveled floor serves as the perfect canvas for any interior design. It ensures that floor installations look flawless and continuous. The appearance enhances your property’s aesthetic value and makes spaces more inviting.
Increased Safety Mitigates Liabilities
Leveling your floor reduces the risk of accidents by removing trip hazards and providing a safe walking surface for all users. This is especially important in commercial spaces where public safety is a prime construction parameter. For property owners, it helps in mitigating future liabilities which may cost unexpectedly.
Optimal Functionality of Epoxy Coating
Correct floor leveling ensures flooring materials perform as intended. It guarantees that epoxy material lays flat and adheres correctly, necessary for preventing issues such as cracking tiles or creaking boards, often resulting from uneven surfaces.
Enhances Property Value
A leveled floor significantly boosts property desirability and market value. It is a key indicator of a well-maintained property and makes spaces more appealing to prospective buyers or renters, facilitating quicker transactions and potentially higher returns on investment.
