Concrete Floor Levelling Toronto

Process for Floor Leveling

For concrete floor levelling, we use a 10-foot straight edge to carefully survey the floor, identifying high and low points that could affect the installation of your chosen floor covering. We mark uneven areas, then grind high spots and patch low ones in a process called grind and patch. This method ensures the floor is flat within the tolerances required by flooring manufacturers and installers, protecting your product warranties.

Advanced Floor Leveling with Precision Lasers

We use Stabila lasers to ensure fully level floors with the most accurate elevation readings available. This technology detects minor floor deviations, ensuring SLU is applied with precise and consistent thickness. This results in a smooth, level surface suitable for tile, hardwood, carpet, epoxy, and other floor finishes.

Why Floor Leveling Matters

At first glance, a floor may appear flat — but hidden dips, high spots, and uneven areas can lead to costly problems down the line. Proper floor levelling is an investment that protects your property and saves money in the long run.

Prevents Costly Moisture Damage

Uneven floors create low spots where water can pool, leading to mould, material damage, and structural decay. Levelling ensures water flows properly and protects your property from expensive moisture-related repairs.

Extends Floor Life and Reduces Maintenance Costs

A level floor prevents uneven wear and reduces stress on flooring materials, helping floors last longer and lowering the risk of cracks, separation, and premature failure. This translates to lower maintenance and repair costs over time.

Boosts Property Value and Appearance

Level floors ensure that flooring materials lay smoothly, creating a clean, professional look that enhances both aesthetics and property value — making your space more attractive to buyers, tenants, and customers.

Improves Safety and Reduces Liability

By eliminating trip hazards, floor leveling helps create a safer environment, reducing the risk of accidents and potential liability claims.
